As soon as that surgery heals up, I say he whips Cotto's ass. He isn't shot I don't think because he still threw quite a few punches in that fight.

If Margacheato beats Cotto again in a rematch, then he should earn his redemption. Either way, I'm rooting for Cotto to FHU!! lol

Margs needs to go ahead and take the trinket Cornelious Bundrage has at 154. If he still has another fight in the tank then Cotto-Margs II to unify 2 belts makes a lot of sense. But Cotto out of the gate after such a bad loss? I Dont think that's a good idea. As for someone on here saying he redeemed himself....uh no. No way NY state gives him a license. He still needs to go back to Cali and straighten that out.

          Dan Rafeal said it best:

"Margarito got the beating many believed he deserved in a big money fight many felt he didn't deserve".

agreed. cotto and this point in time would straight whoop his @ss. Marg's warrior self needs a damn good rest period and slowly build himself back up from whatever he has left and take a title fight with cotto at the very end of next year. would be suspense too if Marg could do decent by then and have gotten some good work underneath him by then.

Wouldnt be surprised if Collazo wooped him. Collazo isnt an easy fight for anyone at welter, especially someone who just got their monkey ass kicked

I can't believe people think margarita would give Cotto the same beating...I can't wait for this rematch to take place...but then again......."margarito only lost to Cotto cuz of the beating he took from Pacquiao."

How can Arum even mention fights for Margarito has he forgot that other states still dont want to give him his license I was surprised Texas did but we all know why

I wonder if when Luis Resto got caught if he still had fans supporting him?

Unless Cotto has learned how to fight backing up Margarito would win again. Margarito hurt Pac with a body shot and uppercut while Cotto never hurt Pacquiao at all.
