i think if i were beaten up and i had also won a fight, I'd prolly save face and say that they guy i beat was more powerful... after all he still has some sort of claim in saying he beat one of the most powerful boxers of all time

Vitali is much stronger and has heavier hands but Tyson is quicker and more explosive. Honestly, Vitali was hurting Danny with arm punches, they weren't even well thrown shots. If he had the total body coordination and mechanics of Mike Tyson, with his strength, he would have KO'ed him in the first round.

I don't think Danny's comments were meant as a detraction, more earnest observation.

However, you're right about Vitali only using his arms to hit. Though his accuracy was incredible. (Though with Danny's departed mobility he couldn't miss him, could he?)

vitali throws a lot of punches in his fights, new era tyson doesnt throw combinations. vitalis shots wear and tear the body down, tyson is more explosive

Tyson hits harder, but that is about all he could do and that's why he hasn't been **** since he got out of prison. All fighters have to do is figure out a way to immobilize his power and then they wear Tyson down. VK has a very awkward style and uses his power in unpredictable bursts and long stiff jabs setting it all up. Tyson may be more powerful but VK would kick his ass in a boxing match.
