No matter the circumstances, it's a tough fight for Cotto. The way he lost his first fight and now he's likely facing a bigger version of that. However, he's bigger and knows what to expect.
With the right gameplan, Cotto can beat Margarito. If he's smart and willing to hold after his combination half the time, then move away for the other half of the time, he can take a decision. It all relies on his willingness to hold.
Margarito still has a world class chin, but the beating he suffered won't help him and might have made his face a little more brittle.
Cotto did really well until he was worn down and couldn't deal with the pressure. Cotto doesn't have the stamina to move around the ring and throw the kind of punches he does. He really needs to plant his feet and land instead of fighting off his back foot. He also needs to clinch Margarito.
I hope Steward can teach Cotto how to do this. If not Cotto will get stopped again. Sooner since the fight will probably be at 154.
margarito will fade out cottos will like if cotto became himself again in big fights, lol, cotto and judah are masters of fading out deep in fights, lol, nyahahahahaha
Margarito was beaten back into his infancy by pacquiao. There is a picture where his face is bloated like a newborn babys face and you cant even see his eyes. If i were his doctor i would charge marg his purse just to fix him up. So what im trying to say is that cotto would beat marg like a baby.
If Cotto trains hard and makes the necessary adjustments from the mistakes he made from the first fight, he could take home a win in a rematch. I thought this fight was not possible, I'm glad that things are begining to look up for his one, should be a hell of a fight.
