You're comparing how messed up someone's face is as an indicator of ones power ?.

First thing that came to mind for some reason was Ali vs Frazier and Foreman vs Frazier, Ali ****ed Frazier face up beyond recognition, Foreman knocked him down 5 or so times in 2 rounds but his face was fine, or at least looked a lot better then it did against Ali, by this logic Ali hits harder then Foreman... right ?.

Watched Mosley vs Margarito again, Mosley hit Margarito with every right hand he could, put all his weight into every single punch and wrestled him inside, Mosley hurt Marg in round 8 and finished him round 9 while coming forward and bombing him with all his weight, Pac hurt Marg in round 4 and 10 while backing off and counter punching. Pac did not have the ability to do the same to Margarito as he's not big and strong enough to do it, so Mosley's power is really not that effective against someone like Mayweather who wont let you get close.

I don't see Mosley hitting any harder than Pacquiao, Mosley fatigued Margarito by leaning on him and holding while pushing him back sapping his energy, look at Marg's face and compare the damage done, plus you can add in that Pacquiao obviously carried Margarito late on.

Margarito was hit with a lot more "less powerful" shots to the face against Pac, that's why his face looked worse. Mosley on the other hand hit him fewer times, but rocked Margarito with head shots and even put him down twice. Its clear Mosley's punches had more effect. Does that mean Mosley beats Pac? No, of course not.
