The best thing about the catchweight is that Martinez is at more of an advantage is anyone has one. Williams isn't the bulkiest guy and he's shorter than Williams He'll most likely make the weight just as easily if not more easily.

Lame move by Williams, I don't like catchweights when only one fight likes the idea. Like when Manny does it, or when Floyd tried to trick Marquez with his, then was a full-blown Welterweight anyway.

Just because Martinez is shorter, doesn't necessarily make him the "smaller" fighter in a sense. If you look at the body composition of both, Martinez appears to be fuller and more muscular, while Williams appears to be skinnier and bonier. Size is not only relegated to height. So the catchweight benefits Williams more. Using 147 as the barometer, William's last fight at 147 was in 2008, whille Martinez's last fight at 147 was in 2001.
