don't get me wrong. Amir might stop Maidana but it wont be by count-out. The ref would have to interfere like in the Paulie fight.

Khan doesnt have a granite chin, but its not bad like everyone says.

one KO loss doesnt mean china chin, one ko by a big puncher at a weight where he was drained and weak, when he lunged in is all it was.

lame sad ****ers like to bring up old ****.

He WILL outbox and make maidana look silly and amatuerish.

He probably will put him on his arse,if not KO him out or stop him by TKO.

Isn't it risky leaving someone who hits as hard as Maidana in there for 12 rounds? This is the same Amir Khan who used to get knocked down with very wobbly legs in the amateurs with headgear on.

lame sad ****sucker bring up the weight-drained excuse since Khan fought MAB at that weight.

dont get me wrong but to TKO Paulie is nothing since Hatton did it already.

who says Amir is gonna "leave" him?

Amir is gonna be the first one to strike and will hit with accurate shots non-stop. On top of that Maidana doesn't faint. You know when he is gonna throw a punch. Amir will exploit this with his superior speed and reach advantage and nail him everytime Maidanaopens up to throw something.

A couple of knock downs might take place and even a stoppage isn't out of the question. But the stoppage will happen in the later rounds because of the constant damage Maidana has taken by then.

khan has been knocked down a few times gomez had him down and hurt him to the body and in a few other fights i think light punching limond had him stunned a craig watson knocked him down in the amateurs do he has always had a chinny chin before presscot got hold of him

i think khan can do some damage but pauli was landing on him, pauli is quick but maidana aint that slow he has ok speed and he does a lot of work to the body and khan dont like body punches

              maidana brutal KO

Yeh true, the reason for the chinnny thing is not so much from the Prescott fight but originated when he was put on his arse by a Scots fighter Willie Limond. Although you can't do too much for a chin you can strengthen the muscles around the neck and I believe Khans body will have matured and naturally strenthened a bit. Also I seem to remember an interview with Roach when he first got hold of Khan sayinng he had muscle in all the wrong places and needed to be "stripped down" and rebuilt as such.

I really don't think Khans chin matters if he sticks to the gameplan. He has all the skills to make Marcos look terrible. Maidana could be another prescott after the Khan fight. The Kotelnik loss the Corley struggle, a classic against Ortiz and the Cayo fight where he was also gassing a bit in the 5th (not obvious but he looked like he was sucking it up somewhat before hurting Cayo early in the 6th and finishing with the body shot(Cayo is technically just about as bad as Marcos sometimes)
