Well, that your opinions will always favor Manny no matter what! The fact is that Marquez still remains the only fighter who to a large extent had Pac figured out and to a point he was avoided before because he was never given that third fight. So, give credit where credit is due and stop being a bunch of nutthuggers but I suppose you can't help that, can you? That's all I have to say about this...
Manny during the time of marquez vs pac 2 wasn't a complete fighter yet. His foot speed started being perfected when he fought Delahoya then Diaz, Hatton, Cotto etc.. This was attributed to the fitness trainer alex ariza.

The Pac that Marquez fought ain't the same Pac now. If they fight again he will go on a stretcher. Pac is a beast. I'd say he should just leave pac for his own good. He is to old anyway.

are you ******ed or something? He beat pac twice he's one of the reasons pac went up to fight drained damaged goods

and now he wants to fight JMM at a weight he feels good at..why didn't he stick to the lighter divisions? I tell you why because he use to get the crap beat out of him in every fight.

Pacquiao moved up to fight slow garbage fighters.

          • The fact still remains that most fight analyts thought JMM won both fights. The impartial Bob Sugar clearly stated that he thought JMM won both fights. This comes from top fight analysts not the casual fan , fight promoters (includes HBO crew) or impartial Pac Fans.

The funny thing if you ask me is ...."Has anyone done as much damage to Pacquiao since JMM vs Pac II" ? Go back and look at Pacquiao's face after the fight. The truth of the matter is Pacquiao has not faced a fighter near his Prime since the JMM vs Pac II fight.

JMM appears to be slowing down that is why they will fight him now. Does this surprise anyone coming from the camp that cherry picks weak belt holders (David Diaz), weight drains or ask for catchweights against other fighters (De La Hoya & Cotto) & cherry picks fighters coming of recent losses or KO's (Cotto, Hatton & Margarito).

The only way this fight makes sense is if they fight @ Lightweight (makes the most sense here, great fight) or Super Lightweight/Jr Welteweight (Pacquiao's advantage,JMM has not proven himself past Lightweight). If you want a competitive fight 138/139 would make sense. JMM has been fighting @ 135 (actually weighed in at 133 & change for his last fight) & Pacquiao weighed in @ 144 for his last fight, thus the 138/139 would be somewhere in between. Any weight above this is too much for the naturally smaller frame/JMM and probably not a very competitive fight.

There is no doubt that Pacquiao is a great offensive fighter after showcasing his offensive prowess by putting putting on a great performance against a much bigger fighter in Margarito. However Margarito had been recently KO'd in devastating fashion dating back two fights by Mosely and his last fight was a lackluster showing vs a journeyman. Not a top contender by any means if you consider his last two fights, and especially not a top contender @ Super Welterweight.

yeahhhh!!! pac was so scared of jmm that he was able to capture 4 lineal titles, and 8 championships just coz he was trying to run away from the guy he beat twice... that's like some thief who was trying to escape from a security guard and managed to kill a bunch of swats, marines, and muthafckin captain america himself in the process. you smart brah, YOU SMART!!!

                • If the 2 boxers will meet again for the 3rd time,

                  Pacman will win by stoppage.

Pacman's current condition, talents and accomplishments, fighting taller and heavier opponents and winning, is superior to Marquez!

Marquez did fight Mayweather at 147lbs but was unssuccesful, the additional weight made him sluggish!

blah blah blah... marquez was robbed!!!! blah blah blah... pac fights only weight-drained, shot, dehydrated opponents at a catchweight!!! blah blah blah pac (who just weighed in at about 145) should drain himself to jmm's weight so the fight would be fair (even tho jmm holds no bargaining chips in the first place)!!! blah blah blah jmm is weak and slow now!!!

it's 2010 (soon 2011), bro... wake up and quit sobbing to those old reruns of pacc-jmm2 as michael buffer keeps proclaiming pac the winner... that **** wouldn't change no matter how much you watch it.

                    • get over it *****S. Manny will put JMM in a coma once they fight. quit making excuses. Manny won the first fight but got the draw instead because of one of the judges error. yeah it was too close but Manny would have won. the second fight was as close as the first and Manny got the win. there was no ROBBERY. Manny has been winning and fighting way better opponents than JMM. if it wasnt for 2 close fights against Manny, JMM wouldnt even considered one of the best. JMM is no ATG. its just happened that he fought JMM on his best weight and division. JMM was good in a lighter weight and Manny was good in a lighter weight but greater above 140 lbs. you cant change that fact. Maybe its time for them to fight where Manny is more comfortable. My prediction, Manny will put him in a coma.
