He said in an interview a month ago that he had to be symptom free for three month to fight. He also said at the time that he still had headaches and stuff. And a few weeks after saying that he is back to training. Can't you see why people are su****ious, especially that he was supposed to fight Ward in september, and the fight got postponed only a few weeks beore it happened. Didn't he train and spar at that time, despite not being allowed to because not yet symptom free?

I don't think he was afraid to fight Ward or didn't want to fight because they are boys. I think the neurological accuse happened because of the business side of the bout. They couldn't agree to a venue and don't think either were excited to fight each other.
Dirrell soon after his fight seemed fine when he was in Miami the next week and in Oakland just the week after or thereabouts. Neurogical problems is a broad excuse. I agree with many of you that he could have been more subtle about it. But that is Dirrell he is childish acting and unprofessional. He just couldn't wait to tell his followers that he is ready to jump back in the ring after an exciting weekend and month of boxing.

I think he acted badly before the Froch fight, during the Froch fight and at the end of the Abraham fight. He likes to act..............

I had a dream that Dirrell suffered a grazed knee in his next fight and had to attend the clinic for treatment.
As he's sitting in the waiting room, a somewhat recognisable gentleman emerges in a white coat and introduces himself as none other than Dr Shaw High!
"But I thought you weren't real?" stutters Andre as he's led passively into the doctor's office.
"Oh, my dear boy, I assure you I am only too real!" replies Dr High. "Take a seat."
"So," continues the good doctor, "what appears to be the problem?"
Dirrell begins to explain the circumstances of his injury, how he took an expecially violent slip in the 7th when his opponent began to close the distance, and ended up mildly inflaming his knee on the horrid canvas. To make matters worse, he felt he strained his left ******* flap in the process, leaving him unable to pull off his funky salsa moves every Monday afternoon with his usual aplomb, etc etc. The doctor nods sympathetically and urges him to go on.
Andre continues, oblivious to the subtle change taking place in the learned doctor's facial appearance. When he finally looks up from listing his litany of injuries he sees that the doctor's face has morphed into that of his promotor, Gary Shaw, whilst his stomach has ballooned outward to accomodate the portly promotor's formidable girth. To Andre's continued alarm and confusion the whole of the doctor's office begins to transform into that of a run-down and disused boxing gym.
"Wh... wh... what's going on, dawg?" cries Andre, looking about him in a blind panic.
"Well," said Dr Shaw, "you see, the extent of your neurological injuries was greater than we supposed. All this -- the clinic, the gym, myself -- are merely figments of your imagination, delusions of your battered psyche. But the illusion is so strong that to all intents and purposes if it as real as the waking world. You have become trapped in a hell of your own making. You will win every one of your fights for the rest of your career, but only by DQ, and each one of those fights will be against a bald Armenian man with a creepy smile, and the public will never take you to heart but shun you and call you a quitter and a fake, and the name of Andre The Matrix Dirrell will forever be associated with cowardice, deceit and all the very worst aspects of this sport that you choose to call your profession."
Andre is silent for a moment. Then he says, "So do I still get paid like a mutha***a?"
"Err, yes, but don't you feel..."
"Nah, it's all good. Thanks doc. I'll be seeing you."
He skips out of the gym whistling into the bright morning sunlight.
"Unscrupulous b*stard," mutters Dr Shaw High, shaking his head.
