They might both be Manny victims, but if they were in form their styles could make a good fight.

Not so long ago people wanted to see it.

This has to be a joke, De la hoya would prolly quit on the stool and Hatton would prolly get ktfo even though de la hoya doesnt have ko power.

This would be a exhibition more than an actual fight and if they try to make this a PPV it'll be a disgrace to the sport.

You know what, Oscar could quit on his stool and Hatton would still find a way to get KTFO'd!

You're like that poster Demise who tried convincing this forum that boxing was dead in the UK a couple months ago. Yeah it's really dead. You guys would fill up an arena to watch Tyson Fury fight.
What i'm saying is that DLH would add very little to the event because he's a unknown over here.

Oscar is well known all over the world.

What part of the UK are you from where Oscar is unknown?

And yes it would be a mega fight in the UK because its Ricky Hatton.

I can almost see the sense in this.

The UK would go nuts over this fight.

Their boy Ricky, making a comeback and battling through a ******* addiction to fight Hoya. Ricky would likely make the most money he's ever made.

The problem is, what weight ?

Hatton is a career 140lb'er, who has previously struggled at 147.

But could he even make 140 now?

Moot point anyways, because his opponent would be Hoya.

147 would be much better for Ricky, but that is too low for Oscar.

Hoya would most likely insist upon 154, or at least a catch-weight of 150-154, which would only suit Hatton if he decided to come back just for the payday, because it is an easily achievable weight for him to make without killing himself.

I dunno, what you guys think ?
