Joan Guzman is slick and fights similar to Floyd, of course Floyds better than Guzman but you can't deny that would be an awesome test for Pacquiao. It would be a great test for him, but I doubt it would do any money though. I mean does Guzman really even have a following anymore?

Joan guzman balloons up 15-20 pounds fight night. That means he'd be about 149 fight night. Just tell Guzman to weigh in at 135 because we know he'll balloon up like crazy... BWAHAHAHA

In January 2007, the most logical opponent for pacman was Guzman (at 130). However, after many phone calls and even a meeting in New York, that fight was put aside in favor of Pacquiao-Barrera II, by an economic logic. Then, Arum said the winner of Guzman-Soto was next and after seeing exhibition of guzman, against Mexican rule out Guzman for ever. Why??, Well because Guzman was in that fight so multifaceted that it could be as a fighter and if before the fight, Roarch had his doubts , after seeing the 5 or six different styles that Guzman showed in that fight, Pacquiao's team decided to keep him out of the Dominican.

That was almost 4 years, when I thought that this could have been a great fight, simply because the style of both fighters. But if we go further back, when they were 126 pounds, I'm sure Pacquiao had become another victim of the fists of Guzman. And is that with the pounds, Guzman has kept all his skills, except the power to hurt and against Pacquiao must have it because if not, then do not stop and that's when he does his opponent can stop him. Currently a Pacman-Guzman fight is meaningless, even as a school against Floyd.
