Guys: PWill is simply too tall and agressive. He will be out of range all day for Pac.

Remember, PWill is a LEGIT WW, JMW, MW, not a slow, plodding, predictable Maragarito.

    Pac has his limits.

he doesn't use his height and falls in every time he throws punches. if williams does beat martinez then this is the fight pac should take. these are the type of fights that cement you as an all time great. fights that people think you have no chance in but you still find a way to win.

Yeah, I would love this fight. And despite the HUGE size difference, remember Williams has struggled against two southpaws darting in and out. And if Pac can take Cotto and Margarito's power, I think he can take Williams'.

          Gotta make this fight.

            HE IS NOT!!!

a lot of fans have too much pride to say it but I think Williams style is more of a concern to them then his actual size so instead of just saying that both MAYWEATHER AND PACQUIAO FANS use the "HE IS TOO BIG" "He should fight at 160" EXCUSE!

but if he wins, let him go back down to 147 for Pac
              he'll get beat
....and I'm sick of hearing that Pwill is too big. As long as you can make weight there's no such thing as someone is too big to fight.

This is also a great fight for Pac because many people would favor Pwill to beat him so can he beat the odds?

Martinez is another thing, he's pretty big and could fight at 168. Boxing is about weight classes not height classes so I don't see why a lot of fans think Pac should turn down this fight because Pwill is "Too big".
hes not too big, he can make 147, he doesnt use his reach, he has poor defense, his movement sucks, and he will just end up flailing his arms winging shots trying to catch Pac and getting countered all night..or Pac can just assault his body all night..would much rather see martinez vs pac

but if williams was the same size as pacquiao would he really be any good though? I mean come on, size is a huge reason for williams success. Other than that he's sorta like a margarito - iron chin, insane stamina/workrate. Not that fast, no defense, etc.

Its practically the same as Haye and Valuev..but Paul WIlliams can fight...upto 8inches height advantage and a 15 inch reach advantage...but hey...David Haye slayed Goliath

Not really but Paul Williams is good because of his size/weight combination, Williams doesn't make the best use of his reach but he fights pretty well on the inside.

To me it would be a matter of hunger, I think this would be Williams big shot so he will be pretty hungry while Manny would just be fighting another bigger guy. I think Manny is the much better man overall but I think it would be a bad place for him considering where both guys are at.
