I was just watching this:

and Kenny brought up a great point. Why didn't the De La Hoya/Mayweather rematch happen? I really don't know the story behind this as I must have forgotten but I really want to hear from someone who knows the reason. It's kind of odd since all Mayweather cares about is money and in a rematch after a SPLIT decision win, they could've made even more money.

dlh/wifebeater II never happened because wifebeater wanted more money. also, the first fight was boring and failed to live up to expectation.
