    Pacs best weight?

What in ur opinion has been Mannys best weight class? I think he has proved great throughout but the bigger he has got the more evident his spoeed advantages have been while maintaining his power but obviously he cant grow any taller so at 147 and "154" his height works against him. I think tho he only had the one fight (Devastating Hatton) 140 is his optimum fighting weight

    Opinions?

concidering what he weighed in at for Margarito, id say 140 would be his best weight, he is still super fast, plus he's about the same size as his opponents at JWW so his power is more telling, and his opponents arent as capable of hurting him.

135 is probably too low for him now to be 100% effective.

140 IMO, dude had crazy power there. Every punch he threw looked devastating, he still has that same power/speed but the opponents are just bigger which has less devastating results.

well thats a tricky one then lol

cant say its 140 unless he goes back down there and fights again. One win v Hatton isnt a career defining win no matter how good he looked. He's a better fighter now, but his wins at SFW are more impressive than his wins in any other divsion. Even if Morales and Barrera 2 were past their best

            140. I always say this. He's a bit drained at 135 and needs to eat a pack for 147.

Honestly, in a perfect world, his best weight is at 135 pounds. 130 was too hard for him to make at this point and he loses a bit of power at 140 pounds. (Don't tell Hatton that, lol.) Nonetheless, he had the perfect combination of speed and power in his David Diaz fight.

True, Diaz isn't great, but he's a tough guy that got starched. At 140 is his new weight, though. In the sense that 135 might be squeeze at this point and 147 might be a bit too big. Nonetheless, it's 135-140 any way you look at it.

He was knocking out all his sparring partners and then eventually Hatton at that weight. Too bad it was a one fight stint. He needs to clean out the division.

It's difficult because Pac was a late starter in tern of skill. PAC was brutal at 122-126 but he was on dimensional. His skill is now at his best but he's now at a disadvantage in size. If he had today skill at 122-126, I would have to say 122-126. If not, I would have to say 135 because the guys there would be closer to his size.
