Lets hope all these pac vs marg 1.4 ppv buys are true for boxing

All the pac and floyd haters who want the other ppv to do bad don't belong on a boxing website. If your a fan of boxing you should want the sport to do good no matter who is fighting. I'm not a huge fan of either but I get all there fights and hope for great numbers. I have seeen tons of 1.4 ppv buys articles from a basic google search but none of that 850. I FEEL THAT BOXING IS HURTING BECAUSE OF ALL THESE FAKE BOXING FANS WHO ONLY SUPPORT THERE FAVORITE FIGHTER NOT THEIR SPORT.

As a Floyd fan, I really hope it's true. One less thing to hamper neogiations. Though you could argue Marg can sell more PPV's than Mosley, this is still very impressive. 1.4 million is about a half a million more than I thought it sell.

all the numbers being reported now are nothing but speculation. Real numbers never come out until at least Thurs or Fri following the card.

And I have no idea why anyone would want a boxing event to do poorly... and then have the nerve to call themselves a 'fan'. Whether you hate a fighter or not, you should want to see the sport do well. More big money superfights means more exposure in the media, which means boxing comes back to the forefront.

Some people gloat when their favorite fighter does well financially like they themselves are getting a cut of that revenue. Or they act like a guy getting 8 figures guaranteed is somehow hurt by making 7 figures in bonuses

Whether a PPV sells 100K or 2 million, you're not seeing a single cent.

Money isnt the problem for this fight as far as we all know, Both have settled on 50-50 which i think is more of a credit to Mayweather because if he wants to be greedy he can ask for slightly more.

Secondly, OSDT is the main and biggest problem, If Pac agrees to OSDT and then Mayweather comes out with 60-40 or some BS then **** him.

Mosley did 150-200K his last PPV, Margarito did 12-15K

If they both can get around 1.4 million buys with decent fighters I could see 3 million when pac vs may happens

I agree TS. Me and my friends buy every big PPV, whether it's Pac or Mayweather. I don't understand the "boycotting" of a fighter because you're a fan of another fighter.

i have a question for you, tell me your honest truth, i use to be a big cowboys fan.

look at your sig if the ball holder would have blocked that guy (who tackled romo from the back) do you think romo would have scored a td, all he needed was 2 more yds.

btw, i agree w/ your post

it's not about the money or the OST for wifebeater jr. it's that he's scared and doesn't want anything to do with pac.
