your right, manny does come in at usually 144 welterweight official weighin...just do 144 catchweight, then come in like he did lastnite against margarito...i' think marquez will get his moments but pac has been at his weight for almost 3yrs now, so basically a natural welterweight.

pac was a mainly one dimensional fighter/brawler, now he's an all around fast power punching boxer that can do 4 to 6 punch power combos as he did against margarito...right, left, right, body blow, right ,left...and some of those power combos was from long range

pac darting in and out, moving left and right, in and out...power right jab and straight lefts...how he did margarito/clottey/cotto/margarito will be the theme against marquez. current pac is too big and too strong and will KO marquez...no way i see marquez put pac down at pacs present weight.

If Pac goes down to 140 for Marquez then Floyd should be willing to do the same for Pac. Pac doesn't have to accommodate every fighter that wants to fight him.
Either he fights at 140 and stays there or he fights at 147 and stays there.

A catch weight of 144 for Marquez would seem fair to me, that way if Floyd decides to fight, Pac will still be ready for him as well.

I don't get it. What does roach want JMM to weigh 147, is he going to insist he gains weight. He's basically putting a limit on Pacquiao, becuz JMM can weigh 102lbs if he wants. Just as long as he doesn't weigh over 147.

I've never heard of JMM camp insisting on anything like 140 or below, they jus want the fight. I like Pac but Roach is delirious.

Even though I don't think he can pull it off anymore, aside of Mayweather he's the only one with a chance (slim).

Slow guys and willing to mix it up old de la hoya ,shot morales ,old barrera ,hype job hatton ,slow margerito all are not known for speed ,now he wants a featherweight at welterweight knowing that adding weight makes an jmm more slower than their previous meeting

Im a fan of Manny's action in the ring and Floyd's skills But both are wrong for trying to make Marquez fight welter!

Lets be fair, if Pac didn't have to weigh in at 150 vs margarito then marquez shouldn't have to weigh in @147!
IF PAC IS COMFORTABLE AND CAPABLE OF FIGHTING AT 144 and MARQUEZ COMFORTABLE AT 135 THEN HAVE THEM BOTH AGREE TO FIGHT AT THEIR COMFORTABLE WEIGHTS SO WE CAN GET RID OF THE "EXCUSE FACTOR"! By fight night pac would be @ 147 and Marquez would @ 141...which is not much different from their second fight where pac was 145 and marquez was 141 that night!
