Kellerman and the HBO guys don't even pretend to hide their pro-Pacquiao bias. When Oscar's star faded, they needed another meal ticket and Manny was it. Both Floyd and Manny are guilty of handpicking opponents who make them look good and pad their resume. Floyd got Marquez to come up in weight so he'd be slower and easier to pick off. Manny has picked mostly bigger and slower fighters that he can run circles around and wear down with his barrage of punches. Both fighters are also guilty to some degree for their fight not happening. It's kind of silly for one party to accuse the other of being afraid when they've been putting up roadblocks in negotiations.

Although Floyd seems very sensitive to criticism, he cant really be got at with mind games.

This is something i dont understand (honestly), the cut off days thing.

U think Pac walked away. Which he did the first time. But then didnt he agree to 14 days the 2nd time, only for floyd to then change it to 0 days?

Seems like they both walked away. Pac the first time, and floyd the 2nd.
You are kind of wrong with the bold. After Manny walked away from the 14 days PBF said 0 days/ no cutoff the 14 day cutoff is now off the table. PBF even said this in the ring on TV after the Mosley fight during the in-ring post fight interview.

Now Manny agreed to a 7 days cutoff recently. I am of the opinion that there really was no back and forth between both sides if they offered PBF a 7 day cutoff and PBF is stuck on 0 days. Then what is there to talk about if that is not acceptable to PBF. That is like a person selling a watch for $500 and you get a offer for $450. What is there to talk about if you know you not going to sell for anything less than $500?

Now as fight fan I feel that is ****ed up on PBF part that he didn't atleast reply with something like a gauruntee that no blood will be drawn the Friday before the fight. I mean at least reply with something instead just saying **** it in a it's all or nothing manner. Damn as a fight fan I want to see the fight.

He said that Leonard did a similar thing with either Hearns or Hagler, Hagler I think. It maes sense, he did the same thing with DLH, FLoyd did. Floyd has no reason not to fight Pac, the testing thing is just a smokescreen to give legitimacy to his not wanting to fight. If and when they do fight, Floyd will get battered like the rest and quit or get ko'd. Floyd isn't superhuman, the only way he would survive is to pull a Clottey.........you can't win a fight like that though. If Floyd tries that counter game, Pac will swamp him with punches until he is landing at a 6 to 1 ratio and Floyd will be taking too much punishment for him to even try to fight back, by the mid rds Floyd is retreating and crying in the corner.

Except that he wanted $500 for the watch and he only got $400 for it against Mosley (since they only tested 14 days out from the fight and Pac is willing to go to 7 days out, which is twice as close as they tested in the Mosley fight. So if the Pac offer is equivalent to $450, that is actually a better offer than what Mosley offered him....like $400.)

I know they agreed to unlimited testing but with out the least 2 weeks, what good is it then? Floyd did not complain to the commission that Mosley wasn't tested up to the night of the fight did he? I guess it wasn't a big deal then. You can't say well 2 weeks out is really ok for this last fight even though I was asking for unlimited, but for Pac, I need him to give me urine and blood samples between rds too.

Floyd is just reaching for straws......

How can that be, unless he knew Pac would run scared of the tests?

okay but let's be honest here---floyd fought the undisputed ww champ in mosley at the official weight class--floyd's last 5 opponents were coming off wins and not only wins, tko's and ko's---whereas manny's last 5 were coming off close wins and losses----and hatton---lol--i'm about to make a thread about that now---
