To all the people who wanted the fight to be stopped, Give me a ****in break. This is pro boxing... Let em' fight til one of them is knocked the **** out, like in the old days. You think they stopped a fighter if he was still on his feet in the 20's, 30's or 40's? Hell No. They let them fight on til one of em' was down and out. The way it should be.

These early stoppages are ruining the sport. Fights should only be stopped when the fighter has either been counted out or have been knocked down several times in a round. IMO. If the fighter has never been down in the fight and is still standing then let him fight on.

Tell that to the family of Richard Green, the referee for the Mancini vs Duk Koo Kim fight, who committed suicide after not stopping that fight.

Robert Garcia should've known better; he should've stopped it. And the whole "Mexicans fight 'til the end" is B.S. I get visuals of Erik Morales sitting on the canvas waiting for the 10-count to expire; De La Hoya quitting on his stool, Rafael Marquez, etc.

I'm not putting these guys down, but if there's no point in continuing, why rob the fans of a couple more fights just because of pride?

Say what you will about Margacheato, but I'd love to see him rematch Cotto or Mosley. He may never fight again now, robbing us the fans of some interesting matchups.

The fight should have been stopped around the 8 or 9 round Marg was way behind on the score cards couldn't see Pac's left straight it was a horrible decision not to stop it.

Sure you think this is fight night? The wasn't in the fight was way behind and couldn't see what's the point of letting the fight continue? I don't want to see a guy take unnecessary punishment. If this was like the Marquez vs Vazquez fights where they both were in the fight I wouldn't have a problem.
