IMO Cotto. If roles were reversed. Margarito would have had the fight stopped just like Cotto did. Cotto would have made it out alive if in Margs shoes.

The difference to me was that Cotto actually did damage, and if not for the 2 knockdowns, then Cotto would have won 4 rounds. You are stretching to say Margarito landed the cleaner harder punches in any round.
