he's not slick, he doesn't need to be. His fast movements in and out and high volume punching help him not get hit as much. Although Margarito was catching him with his slow ass jab. Slick to me good over-all upper body movement not only head movement as well as being tricky offensively. Pacman goes at you and uses his speed and volume punching to overwhelm his opponent. He did move his head a lot more in this fight, but only because Margarito is slow. By no means does that make him slick.

Pac is very slick when he wants to be.

You can see this in spots, but he likes to brawl too much, he likes to respond when he gets hurt, he likes to finish guys off, and he likes to take chances.

And when that happens, he throws all that out the window and becomes completely offensive minded- and it works for him because he's an offensive powerhouse as well as a slick fighter.

In boxing, the term 'slick' refers to as specific style.

Pacquiao is simply not an exponent of that style. You can spin that any way you like, but it isn't even a knock on Pacquiao - it's just reality.

This was possibly thee dumbest thread ever made, featuring some of the dumbest posters on the board.

At least it ended well on post #81, composed by someone who has a clue.

they either get stopped or get KTFO. Not all slick are invincible like most people think.

I wouldn't call Pac slick, but that isn't a knock against the guy. Pac doesn't win by out-thinking his opponent, or setting up his shots. He uses his athleticism to overpower his opponent.

hahaha this is Proof that people on this board don't understand what Slick is, they think a guy with Speed is "Slick"

Manny is far from Slick, Slick Fighters don't get hit much and they damn sure won't get hit by fighters that are slower then them

                  THIS IS SLICK:

many of you have no clue what your talking about, your just voting yes because your in love with Pacquiao and your using absolutely NO LOGIC!

Slick is someone like Cristian Mijares on his good days. Schooling Jose Navarro slipping and dodging almost every punch thrown by Navarro. Pacquiao is very hittable. Thus not slick.

Before we can answer the question we need a true definition.

Pac is harder to hit than his opponents in general. Sometimes in the past he went looking for the kayo so might have taken a few more than he should of. But who can blame him when he took JMM down 3 times ina round?

Margartio hit Pac, but Marge ate more punches. So Pac is slicker than Marge thats for sure. Im assuming thats what slick means.
