In some ways he is, in other ways he isn't. His footwork and mobility is fluid and just overall awesome, but when he's not moving he doesn't have the upperbody/head movement or defensive nuances to evade much of what's coming at him.

I think his footwork puts him in the boxer-puncher category. He isn't just as fast with his upper body. His head movement is pretty good at times, too.

Pac is offensively minded, so his defense will naturally lack. He can show some slickness at times, dipping and slipping punches, but he just likes to brawl it up.

He must be doing something right. He is a small guy fighting bigger guys and generally comes out of the fight with his health intact. Yes he gets hit some, but with his style it happens.
