Wasn't Mosley More Impressive Against Margarito?

First things first, I love Pacquiao. He is an amazing fighter. But aren't people going overboard here.

Im I the only one who noticed Shane Mosley was more impressive in his KO of Margarito. Pacquiao looked great but Mosley destroyed Margo. Now I am not saying Mosley should be fighting Pacquiao. But before we anoint Manny the greatest fighter ever, we need to realized the Margo was damaged goods coming in.

it's just the style differential, brah.

Margarito was much less eager to go after Mosley, who has 1-punch knockout in each hand.

Manny Pac's punches weren't hurting Margs as much... i would bet

but he threw a ton of fast, accurate punches that take its toll.

Pac's recent opponents have said "his punches don't hurt me"

but they end up having a reconfigured face by the end of the fight.



and the Mosley is also physically bigger... but it all ends with styles make fights

just saying that Manny Pacquiao requested a catchweight for a reason and a catchweight by design is to handicap the fight

Where did you know Pac's camp requested the catchweight? I read from one of Roach's interview Margarito's camp suggested the fight at SMW because Marg wanted to move up. Only then Pac's camp suggested a lower weight than the SMW limit.

let see Mosley fighting a pressured boxer who outweighing him 17 lbs then you can tell me if Shane really hits harder. if Marg only weigh 5-7 lbs more than Manny he would have kissed the canvass and never get up inside 4 rounds.

He couldnt even put Cotto down with all his best shots landing in Cotto's face.

cotto is expected to got beat by plaster 2 fights befor his fight with manny so cotto wasn't the same fighter he was when he beat shane just like margo was beat down 2 fights before fighting manny.

Mosley knocked out an untrained ghost of Margarito, Pac beat a well prepared monster.

Pac is more impressive in every way imaginable.

Pacquiao was asking the ref to end it at the 11th. He could have knocked Margarito out anytime from that point on if he wanted. He only did enough to win the rounds because he didn't want to hurt him anymore. Mosley on the other hand didn't have the same score card advantage as Pacquiao so he couldn't afford to go easy on him. He had to knock him out to make sure he would win.

Mosley's victory was more impressive because nobody expected that, Margarito was at the top of the world, hugh amount of confidence & was huge favourite.

Pacquiao was expected to do that to Margarito.
