Tony did better than Diaz, De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto and Clottey COMBINED.

Cotto was "in" the fight for the first 4 rounds but he never hurt Pacquiao.

Tony lasted the full 12 rounds and managed to atleast stay competitive.

He has no concept of "head movement", though and was a human punchbag.
That's a big f**kin' lol. 'Rita had his moments, I'll give him that. But, that's hardly being competitive.

And ****, shouldn't it be the much bigger man the one bullying the much smaller man ? Yet, it was the undersized fighter who hand it to him. The fact that he had such a huge size and strength advantage and that's all he could muster, well, I can't give him props.

I give Cotto more props for his performance against PAC. Since PAC and Miguel were very close in size.

Margarito just proved that it hardly manners how big u r, if ur gonna walk up on Manny, ur gonna have problems.
I'm not knocking Cotto, but he only avoided getting his face ripped up some more and being badly knocked out.

There's no way you can argue he was more competetive than Margarito by being chased around the ring and savagely mauled whenever the Pac-Tiger could find him.

This thread is directed at the whiny hardcore Marg haters who said Tony was "nothing without his plaster", anyway. Funny, because "nothing" hurt Pacquiao worse last night than Cotto managed to do.

Even if it's grudging, they have to show this man some appreciation or they are no more than plebeian - that is my challenge to them.

He did better how? Taking flush punches? I disagree, Taking flush punches while you dont land much isnt a warrior thing to do, A warrior who outweight his opponent in every other way would use all his advantages to win..Not just survive a 12 round skull bashing session, Warrior my as*.

He landed punches, he didn't just take them. He threw and landed. He hurt Pacquiao.

If you're arguing that he wasn't more competetive than all of those guys combined, I'd be happy for you to expound on the reasoning behind that.

"Cotto did better than all of them combined"

                  is fantasist horse-shit.

Tony hurt Pac, something the rest never did.

Tony had a high % rate of landed power punches and he was getting hit with huge shots that hardly seem to wobble him. Yet he still came marching forward looking to fight.

He was fighting right up until the last bell, after all those punches he had taken, after his face was all messed up. That's a warrior IMO.

props to margo for hurting pac in the liver that ***** was scary.

at least he threw punches on air and not shelled himself like clottey.

at least he really did not quit on the stool like oscar did. his eyeball was prepared to burst down right in that cut yet he continued to fight.
