Just as I thought Margarito was just a bigger human punching bag for pacman. Tony can't catch him it was really hard to land solid on pacman.

I would love to see pac fight a fast and slick boxer not these come forward pressure fighters.

If that is how you see an impressive match (a KO), then i think you don't deserve that "Undisputed Champion" rank. You obviously have a lot to learn more about boxing. The greatest battles in the ring are not from a fight that ended in KO or TKO. All of them are matches that goes to distance.

          Just my 2 cents. :-) PEACE !

Depends on how you look at it. Floyd gets rocked by Mosley
then comes back to dominate him, is impressive. Floyd moving
up in weight (Full limit) to take on the bigger De La Hoya, that
outweighed him by 12LBS. Oscar had the gloves he wanted,
ring and Freddie Roach in his corner. I guess a victory over
them odds could be considered impressive but a KO makes it
all the better. Listen, how come everytime I say something
about Pacquiao, everyone brings up Floyd? I'm not a fanny
boy. I'm here to talk about Boxing and what it is really about.
After hearing about Pac putting Margarito in the hospital, I
would have to say that his win is impressive.

Technically, the catchweight here is moot and academic because even if they pegged the match at 154 lbs, Margarito could have entered the ring still at 165 or 168 the most while Pacman still at 148.

Now, that being said, i agree with you about the championship title. Surely that would be another title with an asterisk. Without the belt, it would have been one of the most impressive fight i have ever seen. How often can you see a small guy beating a big guy to a pulp?

I would like to see him in the ring with someone that can match
him as well, speed wise that counts on his foot work to gain an
advantage. It is more than clear now that bigger, slower, pressure
fighters can't touch or even see Pacquiao in the ring so now it's
time for him to dominate someone that actually has a sound
technical game. I noticed in Pac fights with JMM, that when
JMM waiting to counter Pac, Pac didn't know how to get in
and get his shots off because he is mostly about having offensive
game accompanied with speed. Pressure and no defense ain't
going to beat Pac. The fight to make is Floyd/Pac to see who
is really the top dog. If they don't fight I will assume that
both guys are ducking each other because this is the most
important and significant fight in boxing.

I don't think a Pac performance over a fighter the whole
sport of Boxing said had no chance against Pac got Floyd
quaking in his boots. No matter what people think of Floyd
when/if they ever fight, Floyd is the favorite to win, even
after Pac's performance over Margarito. Pac/Margarito in
some ways is similiar to Floyd/Baldomir situation. The
faster, better skilled fighter beats the bigger pressure fighter
fairly easy, dominating the whole fight. Inorder for me to
say Pac is definitely a match for Floyd or can beat him,
they will have to fight. Cause in actuality, Floyd has been
dominate against many different styles while Pacquiao
dominates one style type fighters. In my opinion, performance
wise, Floyd has the better skill set. After seeing all of Pac's
past four fights, I would say that the last real challenge
he had was Juan Manuel Marquez because he could actually
box. With that said, eventhough mostly EVERYONE predicted
it. The beating he gave Margarito is pretty impressive, sending
a big dude like that to the hospital with a broken face.

                    Controversy brews over supplement

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Controversy erupted Saturday night before Manny Pacquiao and Antonio Margarito even got in the ring.

A weight loss supplement was seen in Margarito's dressing room before the fight, and Pacquiao's team demanded that he be tested before the fight for possible banned substances. Texas officials, though, said the testing would be done after the fight as usual.

The weight loss supplement was reportedly Hydroxycut,
                    sold over the counter.

Margarito struggled to lose the last few pounds this week to make the 150-pound contract weight for the fight.

Guess Jeff Mayweather, Freddie Roach, Alex Ariza were right
after all. Margarito lied and cheated again
                    .

Ok, so if that is how you look at it then, that would mean that
Floyd's win over Hatton was more impressive than Pac's because
Floyd beat Hatton up worse while Pac KO'd him in the 2nd round.
Is that the way your seeing it? Or Quintana's win over Paul Williams
was more impressive because it went the distance while in the
rematch, Paul KO'd Quintana in the 1st round? Some fights that
are actioned packed are great to watch when competitive like
Corrales/Castillo 1 but Manny giving a 1 sided beating to Margarito
and not dropping him is not more impressive than Mosley putting
him away but after hearing that Pac put Margarito in the Hospital,
I would have to say that was impressive considering Margarito was
                      HUGE compared to Pac.
