Why fight a Klit when he can pick opponents like Harrison who only land 1 punch all night and make millions in the process?

The Brit Public are so easy and dumb buying a fight like this.

Apologies to your ego, David Haye, but you most certainly need the Klitschko brothers far more than they need you.

In view of Wlad's next opponent, that's debatable to say the least.

Nothing to do with his 'ego' anyway. Both Haye and his manager have said he won't fight beyond November 2011 and his aim prior to that is not to 'cement a legacy' or such (he really couldn't give a **** about that), but to make as much money as possible in that time. Hence the Fraudley fight, lots of cash with minimal risk and the Klits are still there for next year. If he fights one and loses, he'll retire. If he beats one he'll fight the other and retire either way. The simple fact is that a Klitschko fight in 2011 will pay Haye far, far more than one in 2009 would have done, particularly if he loses it.

About 2 months ago he said

"I will be the laughing stock of boxing if I fight Audley Harrison"

4 weeks later. The fight is signed.

Here is his reason for not responding to Wlad YT call out video, a response he made AFTER both Klitschkos were signed to fight Peter and Briggs: "I didn't respond until now because my mother always told me 'If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all'" This is coming from a guy posing with decpitated heads and claiming he will gang-**** Fraudley.

Gaye Vaginga will never fight a Klitschko - as long as he wants more than 50/50, that's his only way to duck them and still claim that he tried to make the fight.

• Haye's retiring on or before October 2011.
• He has a mandatory coming up in Chagaev.
• Haye remains inactive for 5-9 months at a time.

What this all means is that Haye's got maybe 2 fights left in him and I would be willing to bet anything that those two fights aren't going to be against Vitali and Wladimir. Haye's 50/50 excuses are just how he prices himself out of the fight. In the post fight with both Haye and Booth neither one would answer questions directly about taking just a little less or giving a little in order to make a fight with a Klitschko fight but rather went back to basically saying the price has to be right. Haye's a ducker plain and simple.

I believe Haye's going to fight Chagaev sometime in April or May and then close out his career with another B or C level fighter or perhaps against someone in the over 40 crowd like Roy Jones Jr. Haye and Booth tonight kept criticizing the Klitschko's for fighting bums even though Haye had just fought one of the least threatening, underachieving, overhyped bums currently in the sport.

I don't see a Klitschko fight happening...Haye's out to milk his title he's not in this for legacy or pride.

It was the same when the Valuev match was announced, the same when the Ruiz fight was announced, the same when the Audley fight was announced, and now, just like a floating turb, here it comes bobbing back up again. Get this through your thick skull: Haye will never fight a Klitschko. Not now, not in his next fight, not ever. He'll retire, shift his arse off to Hollywood, and ponce around with Jason Statham and all his poncy mates and call himself a superstar. Haye isn't a joke anymore, he's a bad punchline.

Currently in the sport? In the whole of Heavyweight boxing history. I have seen rabbits with more courage than Harrison.

But anyone who knows anything about boxing knew that long ago, so those who complain about his non-performance are either being disingenious or have never seen him fight before. He fought exactly the way he has always fought, since turning pro. The only surprise in this fight was that he lasted three rounds, and that only happened because Haye was so tentative.
