No way did he "run" from Mosley. Yeah, he moved back for a round or two but he boxed his ass off in that fight. That was the first fight that people realized that Miguel could actually box, something Margarito could never do. As for Clottey, he boxed in that fight too and if I recall was busy body slamming his cheating ass.Clottey deserved it too with that huge ass weapon he seems to use in every fight. He didn't run from either of those cheaters(Mosley with PEDs and Clottey with his head).

Okay but that doesn't answer the question about Cotto. If Margarito had to cheat in a fight when all things were in his favor, why on Earth would he not cheat in a fight where all things are not in his favor? No one has ever came up with a good answer for that question and I will never be convinced he was clean until I get one.

Vs Cotto, he had it all right there. A win over Cotto would be a push foward to his career and a loss would be pushed back into the shadows where no1 cares about.

You see Tony vs Cotto and Pacquiao are almost the same, This is Tonys breakthrough. If he wants to be on the spotlight, the glory, redemption he HAS to win this. He trained his ass hard for this and hes going after what he wants. Everything was against Tony, thats even more motivation to prove everyone wrong.

Now why cheat when your the favorite?

Simple, You think your the **** and you dont take things seriously. The fight was january, Christmas just passed and of course like every normal human being we all put extra weight on during christmas. Margarito came heavy to training camp and was drained by fight night. The odds are for you but the public didnt know he was drained and was gunna look like earthworm jim at the weigh in.
Tonys mistake was he came to heavy for training camp and didnt take mosley seriously as mosleys last performence vs mayorga was utter **** and mosley has been on the downside for awhile.

If theres one thing ive noticed about tony, it would be, hes at his best when hes the underdog.

He was backpeddling like he does in every fight. Once Mosley started busting him up with those overhand rights he went into retreat mode.

Its a Cotto thing. He does it in all his fights when he can't smash the other guy.
