Sex before a fight a myth or truth?

So here boxers always say it makes you weak in your knees if they have sex before a fight, is there real truth to that?

I think it just depends on the individual. For me I know it would make me lazy & not want to feel like doing anything, so i wouldn't have sex before a fight

No broad's snatch is worth that much mate. As a fighter making those kind of purses, it's wiser to not take the chance until the fight is over with.

Its possible, in the sense that it could probably take away SOME of your strength. (not necessarily make you weak in your knees though)

I guess its all in the individual

I have a few amateur fights under me and countless highschool and collegiate wrestling matches under my belt and I always use to have sex before and it never affected my performance.

I wonder if there is some scientific research on the topic

It won't hurt your training, except you will enjoy it so much you won't want to do anything else.

How so? Is there some scientific truth or just psychological warfare?
