I hate when people say things like that, they forget that boxing makes superstars.

But definitely it will hurt boxing popularity when Pac retires. He brought a lot of casual fans, non boxing fans (before Pac came) into the sport.
It won't hurt the sport much at all. Yes, in the mainstream it will hurt but that's about it. Pac brought fans in but they really aren't fans of boxing, just the fighter himself. The fans that he brought in that became boxing fans will stay though and that is a good thing. Fighters come, fighters go, it's part of the sport and no one fighters makes or breaks this sport. Unless you're a die hard fan of the two fighters tonight, most of us are more excited for November 20th, 27th, and December 11th.

lol you guys act like if Pac loses, he vanishes in to thin air. You're probably the same ones who strongly believe that you have to have '0' loss to be considered 'a great fighter.'

The thing is, win or lose, as long as Pac performed great and entertained his fans and it's a war, then both fighters deserve kudos. Pac doesn't sell himself as a fighter with winning streak, he sells himself as an 'exciting fighter.' He never promises a win, but only to perform well for his fans. If you still don't know this about Pac, then I can't help you.

I agree. Pacquiao has his mind right, i hate his fans though and didn't like how he ducked under the drug tests, that is all. He's still a very exciting fighter.

i'm new here and i'm very excited for this fight!
you don't know what happen here in the philippines, everytime Pac fight all filipinos will watch the match so no traffics and no crimes!
@Allucard Pacquiao had a reason to 'duck' the blood test he had a bad experience in 2005 in the fight against Morales they wanted a blood test 1 month before the fight from Pac but 2 days before the fight they requested another blood test because they 'lost' his medical record... and i think Mayweather knew about this...
i would like to post the videointerview but i don't have enough posts so search
''Pacquiao Weakened by blood test before the first Morales fight!''
