Allow me to play Devil's Advocate here...

Everyone is mentioning speed will be the key for Pacquiao. However, size will and can nullify speed, especially if you outweigh your opponent by 15 lbs. and come in with the right gameplan and the chin to back it up. I am a Cotto fan, and naturally rooting for Pac, but if Margarito rehydrates to 160-165lbs. and Pac comes in at 147-149 on fight night, I do have some concerns. Margacheato is planning on smothering and cutting the ring off on Pac. He will take Pac's 6 punches to land his 1 or 2. I am interested in your thoughts on this (with post weigh-in in mind).

Thanks for the reply, as I'm interested in the opinions of others on this issue. After the weigh-in, I figure Roach is staying with the speed blueprint. Pac will put on 1-2lbs. by tomorrow max. If Margarito goes up 10 lbs. he is in a prime position to impose his will. We shall see.

      P.S.
(If that's you're baby girl, she is beautiful).

To me, it's not the fact that his hands are so much faster, it's that he's faster in EVERY way possible. Faster hands, faster head movement, faster in and out fighting style and faster feet. He'll be able to move out of the way, avoid the big, wide shots and cut away at Margarito's face.

I just can't see how Margarito can keep up with that speed and land enough big shots to make a difference. Margarito doesn't really hurt his man with one shot. He wears them down. But, against faster guys, he's had to take virtually all the fight to get his actions going.

Cotto extended his gameplan for 11 rounds. Pacquiao is a better version of Cotto and he'll be able to avoid the shots.

        Nonetheless, stranger things have happened.

Thanks, that's my little bushbaby alright!!But the key is stamina here!!If Margarito comes into this fight with the stamina he's known for,his size will play mightily on the fight!!Not only is he huge,he punches a lot & Pacman's defense isn't stellar!!Pacman hasn't faced a fighter this size, who's hard to hurt & who fight 3 minutes for 12 rounds!!

I have stopped betting against Manny because of the size factor years ago, its skills that will win this fight.

People are forgetting that Margarito’s plan “A” is the same as his plan “B” and that’s just plodding forward in wearing his man down and Manny’s footwork will play a heavy factor in this.

I’m not saying Tony’s size is not of major concern I just think skills/speed would favor Manny in a UD.
