      yes.

Though their 12-round bout is for the vacant World Boxing Council 154lb crown, Margarito and Pacquiao agreed to a catch weight of 150lbs with a penalty of $500,000 for every excess pound during the official weigh-in set the day before fight night.

In a 154 fight he would be around 162-6 at the same stage and he would lose it in fluid and pile it on easy after the weighin , with this fight because he is lighter than what his body wants to be at as he must stay closer to the 150 weight , the problem will be the body is smaller than what it normaly would be and it doesnt have the abilty to dry out and hold as much water because its physically smaller less muscle less fat ,,, this is what killed Oscar , the body cannot rehydrate much because it has nothing to pack the water into , thats why Oscar needed IV fluids as his body would not hold the water after the weighin ,,,, the weight will hurt Margo for sure but Roach knows that , thats why it was lose the weight Marg or no fight .

Whoever didn't see this coming when the fight was signed at 150 in the first place, really needs to learn more about fighters dropping in weight over 30 years old. DLH and Jones are recent prime examples.

JMM too went up and down in weight. There aren't much.

Can you name more than 10?

Byrd, Jones, DLH, are at least 3 recent boxers who have gone down in weight after 30 and paid for it.

They dont make 160 any more do they , it amazes me that people think oh its only a few pounds ,, well that few pounds can kill you when its a few pounds to many , its a fine line at the level these athletes are competing at .
