Morales is unquestionably one of the best 122 pounders ever, top 3 at that weight for sure.

He brings everything to the table and never puts on a bad fight.

I think a lot of people overlook how good this guy really is. I personally think he's on the level of his great countrymen of the past in Chavez, Lopez and Sanchez.

He's already 1st ballot HOF material and will go down as the best little guy of this era when all is said and done in my opinion.

    Viva Morales mother****ers.

The man has great technical skills and boxing ability he can box from the outside be he just loves to go to war, u ever hear him speak ull hear him say how he loves when the action heats up how the crowd reacts.

      here is a Resume,

in 1997 at the green age of 21 he would engage tough veteran and WBC Champ Daniel Zaragoza and take his 122lb crown by KO.

Less than a year later he would Destroy Junior Jones a Barrera Conqueror in 4 rounds - 1998

He would follow that up by a destruction of never before koed Angel Chacon still in 1998 and in 1999 he would engage Wayne Mcullough in a classic war.

Less than 5 months later he would engage one of the greatest boxing wars ever against countryman and Nemesis Marco Antonio Barrera he would win a close decision. 2000

That same year he would Stop kevin kelley in only 7 rounds.

Less than a year later he would again go to war against highly underrated injin chi and win a well deserved victory. 2001

In 2002 the rematch he would loose a once again close war against Marco Antonio Barrera, follow it up with a serious 12 round boxing clinic over Paulie ayala.

In 2003 he would move up in weight and destroy Guty Espadas in 3 rounds and follow it up with a war of injured fighters (both were) against Jesus Chavez.

In 2004 he would school Carlos Famoso Hernandez over 12 rounds, and one again go to war against Marco Antonio Barrera though a loosing effort the fight was once again close.

In 2005 with many writing him off he would again show his skills, granite chin, and determination with a 12 round win over tough Manny Pacquiao.

Tell me thats not Hall of Fame.

Beautiful stuff Ultimate. I remember the first people I really agreed with about a particular fighter was with you and jose about Morales. I was a big fan of his ever since the first time I briefly saw him against Zaragoza.

Morales is in my opinion up their as MAYBE the best fighter pound for pound, He has only lost 1 fight in my eyes ,he lost the 3rd of the Morales Barrera fight while the 2nd was robbed from Morales, I believe Morales should be 48 -1 with 2 wins over Barrera, 1 over Daniel Zaragosa, 1 over Carlos Hernandez, 1 over Jesus Chavez, 1 over Wayne Mc Collough, 1 over Kevin Kelley, 1 over In Jin Chi, 1 over Junior Jones, 1 over Manny Pacquiao, 2 wins over Guty Espadas, 1 win over Paulie Ayala, and his resume continues. He has a win in the first Barrera fight, That fight could have gone both ways, Morales won, the next fight vs Barrera, that fight was a awesome fight but Morales won Clearly by at least 3 points, The next and last fight vs Barrera, Barrera won it but it could have gone either way,(Morales fought 11 pounds overweight in the last fight vs Barrera), Morales is in my eyes 18 and 1 in title defenses, but his title defense record is really 17-2. He has conquered titles at 3 different weight classes. He has never been Knocked Out so he has the toughest chin in his weight divisions or maybe all of boxing, He has been in pound for pound top 10 for years and years while the De La Hoyas, Vargas, Hameds, Mosleys, L.Lewis, Tsyzus, Jones Jrs, Forrests, Trinidads, Spinks and everyone else drops off, People today and years ago usually put newbies of the pound for pound list ahead of Morales like today , all of a sudden , ive seen list that catapult the Corrales, Wrights, J.Taylors, Pacquiaos, and any other fighter ahead of Morales while dropping Morales down, He is also the most exciting fighter of the past 10 years, arguably. He hasnt even finished his career and hes already accomplished all of this, this man is 3 years younger at least than Marco Barrera

Correct! If Morales doesnt belong in the HOF, nobody does. He's too accomplished a fighter to pass over. All that is based on what he's done so far...he's not thru yet.

i like morales cuz he's humble, and also because he's the type of guy who'll shake your hand after he ****s you up.

dude reminds me of a masoner whos been laying bricks for like 20 years and takes pride in his work.

Thats the main reason i like him, ive seen him on T.V many times in Spanish Channels and he is quiet and doesnt talk too much. He should be ****y as hell because he is a big icon in Mexico but he doesnt behave like it
