News flash: Texas boxing commission is a corrupt self serving joke that cater to promoters with deep pockets. Gale Van Hoy is a great official, not many judges can score a fight prior to it occurring. This special talent will one day see him running Texas commission.Comment

It's too bad Kenny Bayless can only work fights in Nevada. He's one of the fairest (if not the most), impartial referees in the sport.
Also, when a fighter goes down for a count he's got the most interesting facial expressions lol.Comment

He is terrible. Laurence Cole infamously told Mexican fighter Juan Manuel Marquez, during a fight against Filipino Jimrex Jaca, that he was ahead on the scorecards during a break in which a doctor was looking at a cut on Marquez caused by a head butt. This is despite it being against the rules for a fighter or anyone on his team knowing the score during a fight during the bout. What Cole was saying to Marquez was that, if he wanted to, he could quit the fight at that point citing the cut caused by a head butt (not a punch) and go to the scorecards and win a technical decision.
This is a classic example of Cole unfairly giving a Mexican fighter an advantage over a Filipino fighter. That is why everyone is upset at this choice of referee....Comment

Yeah, that was a really awful thing for Margarito's team to do! If you want to hate on Freddie Roach, that's fine, everybody has the right to do that. But if they intentionally imitated him trembling from the disease, then they all have no class. That is something I would expect from the Mayweathers, not from a guy who is just lucky enough to be able to fight at all, especially for an enormous payday...Comment
