Pre-Pac Hatton vs Pre-Pac Cotto @ 145?

Im from the UK but never really likedHatton so this may seem weird but I'll give my honest OP for what its worth. I'd love to say Cotto would win because the weight SHOULD suit him better, and the fact that he is a much better tech boxer and has more ring smarts IMO. But he never seems to do well with people coming at him (Marg and Pac spring to mind, although Ricky is not on their level I suppose). So IMO Hatton would do well, might be able to pull off a win my mauling and smothering Cotto. I think the Hatton that faught Floyd would do better than the one that faught Pac though, but hey thats not what this post is about.

So in an all out war, im gonna say Hatton by 11th round TKO.

wow, a Hatton TKO win... well, I was surprised how Ricky handled Tszyu... I did say pre-Pac, I suppose a pre-Margs Cotto may be too much for Rick.

Yeah I think if we did Pre Floyd Ricky and Pre Tony Cotto then Cotto would get my vote. But in this instance I'd say Hatton. I didnt even think of the Kostya fight, that makes my Hatton vote even bigger. Hattons tactics against Kostya would win the fight against Cotto IMO who has less of a chin than Kostya so wouldnt handle the pressure for as long.

I dont think you got what I said... Cottos compared to Hattons is shyte. Hatton would be alike a Wippet and Cotto like a snail.

cotto is a way more sound of boxer then ricky. if anything this fight would look like cotto vs torres all over again

you know this has been done to death but the truth is that hatton would have lost a competitive bout to the man from caguas who just does everything he does a bit better; maybe save for stamina.

Hatton's D sucks balls man, much more so than Cotto's. He'd be eating leather and Cotto I dare say is the stronger.
