Manny fought Oscar at the WW limit of 147lbs, Manny came in at the weigh in at 142lbs., Manny fought Hatton at the LWW limit of 140lbs., Manny came in weighing 138lbs at the weigh in, Manny fought Clottey at the WW limit of 147lbs., Manny came in at 145lbs. The only catchweight so far is with his fight with Cotto, it was contracted at 145lbs for the WW belt, i don't agree it being a championship match, but i can't imagine Cotto being weight drained for this match, for Cotto just fought Clottey 1 match ago weighing in at 146lbs for the WW belt, and i do recall that Cotto was about 158-160lbs at fight night with Manny, while Manny was about 148-150lbs that night... And now with the Margarito fight, Toney who was a career WW fighter all throughout his boxing life is contracted to weigh in at 150lbs 24 hrs before fight night, i cannot imagine him being weight drained for this match, in fact it will be very easy for him to make the weight limit for this match... And at fight night, Toney will be weighing around 165-170lbs while Manny will be at 148-152lbs.... In reality this catchweight will benefit Margarito more than Manny... The 150lbs. catchweight in actuality is just a smoke screen to get the LMW belt...
