A sickening display of injustice in the boxing world

I'm sure this has already been talked about but a month later one of the biggest injustices in boxing history still stings. Bernard Hopkins won that fight-I know it and so does most people. A recent poll on ESPN shows that most of America believes a bad decision happened in Taylor Vs. Hopkins. The poll stated 41% people think Taylor won. 35% think Hopkins won and 24% think it was a draw. That means that a total of 59% of people polled believe that Taylor did not deserve the decision. I do not recognise Taylor as the Middlweight Champion because Hopkins is still the champion no matter what these crooked judges scored. Hopkins had Taylor hanging on for dear life at the later half of the fight. The rightful man is not at the throne right now. A great injustice in the world of boxing. Disgusting.

Also most of 24% who said it was draw stated that if they were forced to pick a winner they would lean toward Hopkins. The people have spoken.

I thought Hopkins won as well but it's over already. The rematch is coming in December.

I agree. It was by no means a robbery or a horrible decision. Judges could have scored it quite differently, and the scorecards proved it.

It still sucks because the crooked judges messed up Hopkins history making winning streak of title defenses. It is now stopped at 20 when it should still continue until he REALLY loses.

Ive seen a lot of injustice in this sport and This fight doesn't come close. Contraversial decsions are going to happen but I dont see foul play here at all. Hop should haved payed attention to how Oscar lost against Trinidad. You just cant take off that many rounds. Either at the end of a fight or in the begining.

This has left a bad taste in my mouth about boxing. After years of bad decisions I thought boxing was getting on the right path but it looks like its not. This could be why the popularity of boxing is dying and the UFC is becoming more popular because of these bad decisions in boxing. Hopkins is the champ!
