Lloyd Honeygan related, my favourite moment is still when he ran out at the bell and twatted his opponent as the bell rang. This guy wasn't fully on his feet!

        Lol

I watched Lloyd's brutal beating at the hands of Starling, just the other day.
That was a clinic put on by Starling. Honeyghan was tailor-made for the Magic Man.

as they say styles make fights!

LLOYD never wass going to have a long career he liked to party and still does.

That fight did for honeygun at the top level.
Starling defintely an underated fighter though.
so is lloyd come to think of it, people crap on about Eubank but Lloyd was far better than Chris in my opinion he took on the best home or away and was a pretty good champ.

even if you compare Mcguigans resume to honeygun it doesnt stack up so well. People forget how fearless and brave lloyd was.

Eubank never beat anyone like the Donald Curry that Honeyghan beat.

nope. in fact eubanks best win was Benn.
probably the only top rank name he fought and won.

benn in my book should be rated higher as he went to the states and iced barkley then of course the Mcllellan fight, at least he took on the top names.

No, I know Honeyghan and Curry, but I don't have wide knowledge of them. A bit like Marciano, I've only seen clips. In fact I probably know more of Marciano at present.

I'm not proud of this, and it's something I will try and address, but going back through boxing history is a time-consuming and taxing experience. I know you might say the Nuff Tumper couldn't hold a candle to either of 'em, but the difference is Curry and Honeyghan aren't on television next Tuesday, so they're not readily available to me.
