You do realize that had more to do with GBP than Floyd.


GBP was involved in that fight because of Hatton so they were there fully staffed, JMM being their fighter along with Floyd being associated with them they used that event as a springboard for Floyd-JMM.

Golden Boy did something similar during Floyd-Hatton setting up Jones-Calzaghe during.

I am sure Floyd didn't care but that is how GBP does thing, and it made sence because the whole boxing media was present so what better time to hold a press conference. Boxing often takes heat for not using one event to build another so it is interesting to see fans complain about it being this way also.
