can you ppv a fight in a hotel room?

Sorry for this newbie posting, but I'm borderline desperate.

Can most fights (specifically the pacquiao - margarito fight) be watched in hotel rooms? I'll be in NYC with several friends and family on Saturday night, and we'd like to watch the fight in a private setting rather than hitting a bar.

    Thanks in advance!

Ask the hotel your staying they would know it.

most hotels wont feed to individual rooms due to their built in ppv system and lack of satellite/digital cable variety. some hotels do air big fights in their bars. should still call the front desk and ask if they can get a feed to your room. wouldn't count on it but goodluck

Cool. Thanks for the responses. I checked w the hotel and looks like I'm in luck.

Anyone know approximately what time the big fight will start? I know the card starts 9ish. But the Pacquiao fight won't come on until later, correct?

        Thanks in advance

yes, you can order ppv fights in motels too, probably two hot lesbians with boxing gloves and butt naked filled with cherries and chocolate.

If all the undercards knock eachother out in the first round, you should expect to see the main event at around 10ish EST. If they drag the fights on for no damn good reason, the main event will likely start at 11:30 EST.
