Took a closer look at Judah-Mattysse!!

let me help your scorecard out...any round where you think matthysse won based off body work...give to judah.

judges aren't checking for body work. unless it is painfully obvious that the body shots are landing AND hurting the opponent, they are not getting points.

too many "fans" that like to throw out "robbery" are giving fighters rounds for body work. amateur boxing is criticized for not rewarding body work like the pro level does any better.

body work should be part one. body work should always lead to work up top. ALWAYS because that's where the big "points" are scored at.

now, if matthysse, this supposably "heavy" hitter was doing such great body work from round 2 on, why didn't it lead to a stoppage? even the knockdown was due to a solid temple shot that judah recovered from well and started moving immediately after...the recovery and the movement being signs that matthysse's body work was nowhere near effective as you believe it to be.

i respect that your card has it closer than some of that craziness that i've seen but you and i both know that judges aren't giving body work even half the respect that you are.

We both know nothing,Mattysse was the harder puncher,his blows were more telling & Judah got dropped do to Mattysse's work!!Judah looked like he was in a fight more so than Mattysse!!But this Judah was more focused & better conditioned than he's been in years!!He's still 1 of boxing's fastest but Mattysse outslugged him,hurt him,dropped him & controlled the pace of the fight,he also threw more & landed more,that is the most telling points of the fight!!I score rounds by giving the fighter that does the better work in that round 10!!Mattysse IMO did the better work for most of the fight period!!

I had money on Judah and I thought Mattysse won easy. Was a close fight untill the knockdowns and last round. Thought that would have sealed the deal for the win without a doubt.

Not a easy fight, just I thought it should have been easy on the cards. Even fight and then in the last two rounds, a 3 point swing. Im happy I was wrong tho.
