Las Vegas, NV (Sports Network) - A Las Vegas judge reportedly handed Floyd Mayweather Jr. a restraining order to stay away from his former girlfriend, Josie Harris, and their two children two months after the undefeated boxer was charged for felony counts of coercion, robbery and grand larceny from an alleged domestic dispute.
The ruling, according to several media outlets, was issued on Tuesday and also ordered Mayweather to pay $31,000 bail.
Mayweather, who did not show at the hearing, has a scheduled arraignment on January 24.
On September 9, Harris claimed that Mayweather beat her, threatened to kill her and stole her cell phone during the incident.
If convicted of all charges, Mayweather could spend up to 34 years behind bars.
