    Ortiz vs Maidana 2

Has Ortiz grown past the defeat and will he now use a smart game plan to out box Maidana?

Or will Maidana force him to fight again and test his heart.

If he gets into a similar no-win predicament like last time, will Ortiz quit again? Or will he take the beating like a man and pull a Miguel Cotto (run the rest of the fight)?

I would literally put my own money up on this fight that Ortiz boxes Maidana ****** and ko's him in the 10-12 rounds. I mean he showed a hint that he already got the power to take him out in the first fight, he just fell into the mexican bravado shit with the fans and payed the price. The Nate Campbell fight showed that he can keep it discipline and box for 12 rounds.

This is a rematch needed whether Maidana wins or lose against Khan, in which I initially thought Khan would easily outbox Maidana but asked Peter Quillins on Ustream on his prediction on that fight and he didnt sound too convincing on Khan as he did with Pac winning vs Marg.

I agree. Ortiz not only showed he had the power to KO Maidana, but it's clear that he's the superior talent and the more skilled fighter.

I bet Ortiz thinks about Maidana everyday as he should. If he didn't get too reckless against Maidana, we would be talking about Khan vs. Ortiz right now.

I hope this rematch takes place. Ortiz will always have that loss hanging over his head until he beats Maidana.

        I agree. I personally think Maidana's overrated.

I don't know anyone who rates Maidana super highly. He is what he is, a tough rugged fighter who can punch. He is the underdog against Khan, people just wanted to see Maidana/Khan to see if Maidana is rugged enough to hit Khan at all and hurt him. I'm pretty sure Khans the betting favorite in the fight.

I think he has a good idea of how much his chin can take, so he has learned and will Beat Maidana the second time around.

He's Ring Ranking is #4. Personally, I see that as crap. He loses to Kotelnik and gets ranked higher? And I don't even think Ortiz is in the top 10.

Marcos Maidana will knock him out again. He'll do even quicker than before. Victor Ortiz's performances in his fights after the Maidana loss have been very poor. I would not be surprised if Lamont Peterson beats Ortiz.
