It's not a wrong move. It's just not such a wise move. Lopez would be biting off more than he can chew. JMM is much more technical than Rafa and not only that but he also has power in his hands and aint afraid to trade. JMM won't take it because he doesn't need Lopez to make big money. I mean you have the whole PR-MEX rivalry which COULD help it sell but the truth is not a lot of mexicans know who Lopez is. Marquez will easily ignore him because Let's face it Lopez hasn't even PROVEN that he's THE top guy at 126. It's like an up and comer or contender calling out the best fighter in the division and not getting it because he's not well known and doesn't make any "financial sense". Maybe if Lopez was a much bigger name then it'd be a different story. If you only knew how little mexicans knew of the Rafa-Lopez fight. They aint even know either fighter's name. All they knew was they heard "un mexicano iba a pelear" and they'd come to me and ask me "que si era bueno"Comment

there's pretty much nobody to fight at 135 lbs and all the big names are at 140 lbs and JMM don't want to fight them.
JMM should fight JML because he beat up his little bro and becaues of the PR/Mex rivalry. Also JML will be moving up in weight and is open to get hit. JMM can use his counterpunching skills to break JML down. only problem I see is, what does JMM have left.Comment
