..If David Haye Loses On Saturday, What Matters At Heavyweight...

Honestly, what would you give two ****s about at the weight?

The Klitschko's aren't fighting each other. Haye, the only viable challenger, would lose virtually all credibity (barring a robbery) and Wladimir would be left with Alexander Povetkin.

Would a David Haye loss really hurt the Heavyweight division in the long run?

Who even still believes Haye vs one of the Klitschkos happens if he beats Audley? I'd be very pleased to see Audley pull off the upset. Haye has it coming for acting like a such a wanker. The Klitschkos are doomed to years of dismantling ordinary challengers one by one because their division isn't strong. That set it a long time ago. I won't be rooting for Haye for the good of the "big picture." I don't even take him seriously anymore. He could have brought a huge buzz to UK boxing by targeting the HW crown, but he's a coward.

The HW division currently sucks but still a Haye win would be better for the sport. Harrison is one big joke, him being HW champion is just farce, and would be ridiculed. Haye vs the K'bros is the best fight out there in the poor HW division. That being said, Haye would probably get ragged vs the brothers anyway although it could be competitive.

The HW division needs more than a Haye win

Lets take it 1 step further, he not only has to win but win impressively. What if Haye was to win a close debatable decision? I think that badly hurts the credibility of a Haye/Wlad fight if he could barely squeak out a win over nearly 40 year journeyman Audley.

what the HW division needs is some entertainment.

And if Harriosn KOd Haye, I'd be laughing for the rest of month. Thats good enough for me

You mean in the long term like a full ten months? Cause that's how long that joke is planning to stick around in boxing anyway.

I agree with this. And I'd still want to see Solis and Adamek get their shots.
