if hopkins sticks with the same gameplan he's been useing in last several fights taylor will hurt him with accurate less anxious punches.a more confident taylor with plenty of time to work on mistakes he knows he made can take anything hopkins can throw at him.
taylors not going to let hopkins get away with pulling ray leonards by laying back first 2/3rd of close round then coming on strong last minute trying to steal the round.

question.would taylor of won more convincingly if he didnt get that skull cracking headbutt gash?

Ummm...no. The only way Taylor would have won more convincingly is if he actually manged to hurt Hopkins... at all... ever. Or if he managed to clearly win more rounds. Neither clearly won 6 rounds.

Don't forget that Bitchkins % was just as bad as Taylor's. Bitchkins missed many punches, just like Taylor. I think Taylor landed more punches in the fight, the only reason that the compubox had Bitchkins landing 10 more punches is that the compubox counted all the fouls from bitchkins. How many times we saw Bitchkins hold & hit Taylor, all of these punches should've not counted, but the compubox will count every punch. In reality Taylor landed more punches & throw more punches then Bitchkins.

Let's say you take out the small hold + punches Hopkins landed, the fight was still extremely close. And most importantly, Taylor never landed any big shots. Almost all were glancing blows or partially blocked by Hopkin's hands while his head was moving back. Even with those factors, Hopkins still probably landed a higher % easily, although perhaps slightly few shots all together. And Taylor still would've thrown more shots.

Compubox had Bitchkins landing 10 more punches, I don't see how you say he landed more punches if you take away all the hold & hits by Bitchkins. The only man that was almost knocked down was Bitchkins, Taylor took the best shots from Bitchkins with an concussion + a cut & still was know where close being down. Bitchkins was knocked down in the second round if it wasn't for the ropes Bitchkins would've been down & that was not even Taylors best shot. Just imagine Taylor landing some perfect punches on Bitchkins in the rematch. Now let's talk about the rematch.

Oh please. You're going to argue that in round 2 Hopkins was hurt at all? He stumbled. I could fart on Hopkins that would hit him more flush than the shot Taylor "hit" him with. You can not use that as an argument, and then say Taylor took Hopkin's best shot! In the 10th Hopkins cleaned his clock and Taylor was hanging on for dear life. It was almost 10 seconds from when he started holding on to when they were actually seperated and action resumed. Taylor held and punched several times as well, which is why I mention that the stats would probably still be in Hopkins' favor.

taylor WONT be able to land any punches flush. hopkins is where he is because of his good defense. that shot that taylor hit hopkins with wasnt that bad at all, it was more momentum/hopkins was off balance as well...taylor wasnt THAT impressive in their first fight, he didnt win in convincing fashion. i truly believe that hopkins can outclass hopkins (in the ring, you have a right to call him bitchkins) in their next fight. hopkins is pissed, and it is one of the last fights of his carrer
bhop steps it up in the rematch and takes a UD over JT

You're telling me don't argue with round 2 punch, then you say Taylor was hanging for dear life. How pathetic! Taylor was always throwing punches back. We're not here to argue who won the first fight, I think most people with a 20/20 vision thinks Taylor won the fight.

not true, in fact many boxing experts believe that hopkins won.

are you trying to tell us that taylor was throwing punches when he turned his back to bhop because he was hurt?

Go watch the fight. 2: Taylor swings, Hopkins stumbles against the ropes and isn't even remotely slowed down. 10: Hopkins leads, then follows through. Taylor flies against the rope and then holds onto Hopkins for 10 seconds while ref tries to seperate them.
