danny was totally ougunned outclassed and beaten.

but it was no disgrace i was proud of him showing that much heart , i was actually shouting for him to stay down after the 3rd knockdown it was painful to watch.

Best ive seen vitali he excuted his gamplan to a tee and looked a class apart.

hatton looked world class and it was a great atmposhere, oh well, kudos to vitali but Danny got no chance to execute any sort of gameplan, Vitali was teeing off on him as son as Danny got put down. Id like to see Danny go for one of the lesser champs lamopn brewster no rematch for gods sake, it wa sa pounbding.

I didnt see the fight but i think i have a valid opinion
Danny Williams 19 stone 4pounds and the guy is only 6'1 what was he carrying all that excess weight for. Primo Canera(not sure abt spelling) atleast had height. Max Baer the naturally smaller man still Knocked him down 11 times in a brutal fight.
He simply came in too heavy. When that weight was called i knew he had no chance.
Much respect to his heart though.

"Dude", sixth round came to a close with Vit which after missed right hook has embraced the Lewis and did not release him up to the end (save by a bell). Lennox very much tried to push away him from himself, but Vitaly very strongly seized him, that Lewis has failed in it. It was thirteen seconds prior to the end of a round. Before (20 seconds prior to the end of a round) really there was Vitaly`s left-right combination which did not render on Lewis absolute any effect.
So we see, that right uppercut were not one strong punch which has missed by Vit.

You as I understand, big fan to count points in fight. Actually it is normal. But is not necessary to go in cycles on it, when fight not spend all distance, and especialy when the initiative passes from one to another. Try to recollect the first fight between Leonard and Hearns. First five rounds Thomas has won. For this time Ray not only study a manner of conducting fight but as has managed enough to exhaust Hearns. result - has won by knockout. In the future remember this.
By the way all of the judge have unanimously given last round to Lewis.
Also do not overlook, that the judge estimate not only quantity of punches, but also their quality (an example - DLH and Mosley-2). Vitaly's punches did not make any serious effect on the opponent in the sixth a round, as against punchs of Lennox.
I did not assert, that the Englishman had overwhelming superiority (Vitaly too had no such advantage - except the second round), but Lennox in sixth round (after which fight have stopped) has put the most successful attacks during all fight. And how they have worked on Vitaly? For this purpose you look fight more attentively.

He was very sensible indeed, thats what most boxing fans problems were with Lennox. He used to be more go out for war in the earlier days but after getting ko'd by McCall he went more cautious which was very wise in my opinion. He managed to hold off and outbox the Terminator for 12 rounds without getting hurt which is good.

Poor Danny man, i really thought he could do it. I'm glad that fans worldwide respect him more after seeing his couragous efforts to hang in their and not quit. I agree that it would be nice to se him fight one of the other guys because Vitali is obviously a marginal step above all the rest. Pooster or Ruiz are prime potential victims for Dannyboy.

Yeah, he went away and thought long and hard about what he needed to do after that fight. He came back with a style of fighting that was too good for everyone out there which is why he got my respect. He did still excite at times so maybe I'm too hard to please

Remember the Golota fight when everyone thought it was going to be tough and he destroyed him in a round. lol. I miss the good old days. I liked the way he beat Ruddock and destroyed Frans Botha. The second Rahman fight was amazing too, seeing Lennox very focused and in shape was amazing. What was your favourite Lennox fight?

It was, he didn't know WTF had happened. lol. Golota was rated very high at that point in time after his fights with Bowe. I guess Lennox didn't want to take any chances with Golota since he liked punching people in the nuts. Bowe is another fighter i miss very much, he burned out way before his time.

Golota should have been a lot better than he was,the friggin' headcase , and Bowe was a great fighter at his best. I'd find it difficult to call it between him and Lewis.
