I could see Quartey outboxing Mayorga most of the fight and then getting caught and stopped late.

Yeah, Quartey looked like a top 10 154 guy in his comeback, but Mayorga is would end Quartey's night before the final bell. Verno was able to drop and urt Quartey more than once. Quartey is good, but past his prime and also past the point where he can deal with a guy like Mayorga for 10 rounds. It could end really early, or it could be a good fight for a short while until Quartey is finally stopped. Either way, Quartey wouldn't win. It's a fight worth making though.

Quartey just shrugged off all the rust...he was off for 2 years of course he won't look as impressive as he did in the past. I think he'll do well given the circumstances..maybe a close UD, or a SD.

this would definitely be a great fight. quartey has boxing skills definitely mre than mayorga. although if they start going toe-to-toe its anyones fight but mayorga has the better chin so you would have to favor mayorga in slugfest. this is a real toss up fight but i would go with mayorga by tko 11, just cause i dont think quartey will box all night. hes gonna go head to head with him at some point and then his chin will be tested, and his chin is damn good.

I think Quartey could beat him & possibly stop him late. Mayo tired down the stretch in his fight with Pichirillo & was getting jabbed alot. Quartey's sledge hammer jab would swell his eyes & cheeks up to the point where he probably wouldn't see the punches coming at him. It would be an entertaining slugfest while it lasted because both like to go to war.
