I doubt this happens, but LOL if it did. But I'm sure there would be a perfect explanation (lol).

Technically, his last 3 fights would include 2 tune ups. Really? lol It's not even 2 years since the Marquez fight.

        Hey, people!

This is your chance to see the most boring fight in the history of boxing.

        Mayweather vs Malignaggi

These boxers have basically the same style. I have no idea who's going to engage first.

That would be embarrassing. Why would he need a tune-up anyway? This is wasting time.

Instead, it's Pacquiao having two tuneups in a row. Go figure.

if Floyd has a tune up fight its going to be Cotto
I don't know what is worse people believing Floyd is going to have a tune up against Malignaggi or you thinking if a tune up happens is going to be against Cotto.

Probably a stalling tactic. A guy who fights once a year means his next fight after Malignaggi would be on 2012. Who knows what would happen by then?

Is this the same site that said Mayweather was looking to fight Mathew Hatton before the Mosley fight.

Whether such a victory will bring the $200million mega-fight with Mayweather any closer is another matter.

Floyd Jnr - assuming he avoids a jail sentence at an imminent assault and larceny trial - is said to be considering a warm-up against Pauli Malignaggi, Khan's most recent victim.

But he has still not responded to Pacquiao offering to waive any and all limitations on blood testing.

Perhaps Mayweather is hoping that the arch-rival he resents being acknowledged as the pound-for-pound king is finally over-reaching himself by going up to light-middleweight and that Margarito will derail him.
the way its worded this seems like a biased article I guess the author wanted to make Manny and this Margarito fight look better by bringing up a worse alternative for Floyd

at this point in his career Cotto is a tune up for Floyd in the same sense Clottey was a tune up for Pacquiao. Floyd will be at least the 4-1 favorite in this fight
