the punch wasnt even illegal. idk how anyone can look at the tape and say it wasnt a fair punch, it landed right on the ear which is 100% legal. green should be happy he didnt get points taken away during the fight for turning away, dropping below his waist and holding way too much.
i thought this loss would benefit green. that getting knocked silly by a smaller, older, less talented fighter would make him understand he needs to work harder and finally see all those flaws in his game that hes been ignoring. everyone else sees them and used it to beat his ass while he made excuses.
there was no excuse to be made after this fight and a chance to take this loss and learn from it, let it make him a better fighter the way johnson was a better fighter after the beating he took from hopkins, and the way hopkins was a better fighter from the boxing lesson he got from jones. but not allan green, he would rather make up excuses so that he can grasp on to his delusional claims of being the "deadliest guy in the division" even though he hasnt done a damn thing to prove it.
