    Vitali vs Lennox

Watched the fight a few times over the years and everytime i come to the conclusion that Vitali would have won that fight had it not have been for the cut...

I understand Lennox took the fight on short notice and Vitali would have been training for Lennox for a few years but i think even if Lennox had a full training camp that Vitali was all wrong for him and on the basis of what happened in that fight he would have beat him....

Vitali took the fight on 10 days notice and look what he did. Give him a full training camp and he finds a way to get a W.

Thats what i am saying. If both had full training camps then i think Vitali would have came out on to. He was winning that fight.

I don't think many people would disagree.

But it's like saying "I think Khan would have beat Prescott if he hadn't been knocked out".

Lennox put a hole in the fave of Vitali. He got Vitali to the point where it was medically unsafe for him to continue. That's a TKO and it's legit win, thus however the score cards were shaping up are completely irrelevant.

Totaly agree. i aint taking anything away from Lennox. the fight should have been stopped sooner but you Khan comment is on a pretty diferant scale. Khan got rocked.... Badly

Vitali was unlucky that Lennox landed the glancing punch. It's what happens when you fight an opponent of that class but i think Vitali in my mind was winning that fight. A rematch would have been nice lol

You are joking, right? Lennox rarely train for that fight and came in to score an early tko, which he got. He was just wailing away wildly....have u ever seen Lennox fight or look like that in the ring? He wanted to retire before the fight, but gave in to fight one last time. Watch fight again..what Lennox showed is that even at his worst Vitali can't beat him.

Had it been Vlad, maybe he could have taken Lennox out, cuz he's the better boxer/puncher of the brothers, but would he have survived that vicious uppercut or the huge overhand right that Vitali took? We all know Vital has the better chin. It's all speculation in the end, my friend from sore losers. One fact remains is that Lennox hand was raised in the end. History will only remember what happened not what could have been. Peace.

Vitali was winning that fight but history is written bythe winners. Fair enough i stated that Lennox had not trained properly. I think Lennox would have taken Wlad though. But i thinkk Vitali had him, at that point in his career

Yeah, and Roy Jones would've beaten Tarver if Antonio didn't land that punch that KHTFO.
