You are right but Marquez did come to win and I never counted out his experience, skill level and his punching power. I won't agree that he is washed out or over the hill. His prime was at a lower weight and if you remember he did against Tim Austin and Mark Johnson. Cause he had 4 brutal fights against Vazquez doesn't mean that he is done.

where in the world did I say he was going to KO JuanMa? I picked JuanMa to stomp all over Rafa get your panties out of a bunch and your facts straight please
this just goes to show how idiotic some people are in saying Rafa isn't a warrior because he quit with an alleged shoulder injury
well not it's been proven to be legit unless you think notifight isn't legit
INJURIES ARE PART OF THE SPORT AND PART OF THE FIGHT.
You don't say "oh, Margo didn't won because Clottey had hand problems, if he was 100% he would have won KO easily on the 9th Margo LOSES lololol".Comment

LOL and here I though you were just another dumbass Amer-rican but it turns out what you really are is just some ****less sports fan who sits on his couch eating potato chips calling men who have a hundered times more heart and courage then you will ever have in your life cowards.
Seriously die you disgusting souless piece of human shhhit!!Comment

Rafa quit. And I dare you to look at my posts, since I had said that, injury or NOT, he quit.

honestly?
I think somewhere in this thread I stated it would have made no difference and that JuanMa was well on his way to grinding him out or do you not DARE to read my posts.
no but some idiots, don't know if you fit that and to be honest don't care, question the legitimacy of a guy like Rafa saying his shoulder was enough to make him quit
and you know dumb**** go talk about the whole quitting **** elsewhere I have never ever said any of that crap about any of the fighters on here
not Cotto not Calderon not Israel Vazquez and now not Rafa
why? Because unlike your idiotic ass I appreciate what they do in the ring because God knows it takes an amazing talent and fortitude to be able to do half of what these guys do
you on the other hand respond to idiots who taunt you and your kind. You bite each and every time and sound more idiotic than them because you take the bait every chance
and your Clottey analogy is doo he lied about breaking his hands.Comment

so basically not only an old, shot, beat up fighter and now a one armed fighter gave juanma a good fight? how embarrasing for juanma that a handicapped, beat up fighter put up a good fight and almost ko'd him,he should thank the ref for that recovery period he gave himComment

All you need is a first and to me this looks lika a first for him. Just calling it like I see it.
The guy hurts his shoulder in the thrd round almost KO's Juanma in the fourth keeps on punching with both hands for the next couple of round, but when Juanma begins to dominate and hurt him he all of the sudden hurts his shoulder six rounds earlier??? GTFOH!!Comment

the word tough is kind of overrated here, yeah he's tough, but you forgot to add a couple of other important words here...."old".."shot".."beat up"Comment

Funny how Mexican fighters become old, shot or overrated anytime they are beaten by a Rican. Pathetic man, give credit when credit is due.Comment

No doubt. I don't think anybody should question Marquez's heart and he deserves the benefit of the doubt. But there is no question about who was winning the fight and one tough round for Juanma does not equal 4 tough rounds for Marquez. The latter was getting hit, continously and hard. Would he have gone down eventually? I don't know. I'll say this though, as a big fan of Marquez I'm glad he didnt have to take the punishment that he was set to receive the rest of the fight b/c he doesnt deserve it. He might have staggard Juanma a couple of more times but lets get real: Marquez had a puncher's chance from the 7th on.Comment
