Slave contract? Just because Klitschko would get more money which either of them deserves, does not make it a slave contract. I can't wait til Haye retires.

They wouldn't get more money. He has turned down a straight 50/50 deal, and he's admitted it. Haye says that unless he gets more than 50%, it's a slave contract.Comment

Given that they specifically said that they didn't want to go down the non-terrestrial or PPV routes, what hard evidence have you got for that statement? And given that Haye said they could have got a better deal than they did get, why aren't you calling him a liar, if you disagree with him?
Klitschko's need to realise that Haye is the money maker and they aren't going to get 50/50. Pacquiao and Mayweather were P4P #1 but they accepted less than 50/50 with DLH, because he brought the most money.Comment

And Haye can't make nearly as much against any other fighter as he can against the K bros, and you know it. And nor can he make as much as they do if he keeps fighting other fighters and he keeps ducking them indefinitely. EVen the gullible British public won't let themselves be taken for a ride forever, although it seems you will.
And where is the evidence you were going to provide that they lied about wanting to stick with terrestrial TV?
And finally, since you are clearly far more a fan of business than of sport, why don't you post on a Wall street website and let the boxing fans on boxing websites discuss boxing?Last edited by Dave Rado; 11-09-2010, 07:22 PM.Comment

No he said they could still get more now if they wanted to, which means he thinks they could and should walk away from their contract now. Try reading his actual words.

The buisness side is a big part of boxing. Haye is probably making more fighting Harrison than he would 50/50 with a Klitschko, Klitschko's own manager said the UK money would be much more than the German.
Did i say they lied? You LIED, you claimed that they turned down bigger offers to accept less money so more fans could see them fight. Please show me evidence that they turned down bigger offers.Comment

I really hope this fight happens but with they way Haye is acting, it seems that it never will. He has gotten way too big for his britches without accomplishing all that much at HW. I understand him not wanting to have to fight the other brother if he defeats one but that was in the original contract, which he agreed to by the way. His demand with UK PPV revenue is ludicrous.Comment

As with all major sports, the business underwrites the sport, but without the sport, there would be no business. And in any credible sport, the best have to compete against the best. You don't want that to happen, so you're are not a boxing fan.
Yes, because they have said they want to stick to a terrestrial contact is order to get mass audiences and you said that you know that to be false.
And Haye said that they turned down bigger offers, so you are also effectively accusing Haye of lying.
As I said, you're just trolling. so I'm done with this discussion. Go and post in a Wall Street site or an Accountancy site. You're obviously not interested in boxing, only in finance. This is a boxing site, for boxing fans.Last edited by Dave Rado; 11-09-2010, 08:02 PM.Comment

That's an idiotic statement and you know it.
Only because it's PPV and you know that, too. You're talking in circles, we've already gone into all that. You're just trolling. I'm done with this discussion.

No he didn't he said they could make more for this fight than what they will with their contract. How would Haye know what they were offered last year when they signed the RTL contract? You're making BS up again.Comment
